How Does Math-Whizz support instruction?
Math-Whizz promotes learning by integrating adaptive learning technologies, continuous assessment, and engaging problem solving activities. Data-driven instruction ensures that every student is exactly where they should be in and provides educators with information on exactly where each student is in their learning curve.
“Math-Whizz has made incredible gains for most of our students in our tutorial after school program. Our most recent STAR school-wide assessment have been indicators of progress.”

Math-Whizz Can Support Instruction |
Instructional Benefits |
| Tier 1 Universal |
Math-Whizz can be utilized to support instruction for all students grade K-8. Every student is provided with the opportunity to receive additional support and practice in weak areas when necessary and advance to harder skills when appropriate. |
|
| Tier 2 Strategic Intervention |
Through an initial assessment, Math-Whizz identifies students’ skill deficiencies and creates a customized instructional model. The instructional model adapts according to progress made in mastering the topic. Alternatively, teachers can assign specific problem sets to students in order to introduce, re-teach or reinforce skills learned in the core curriculum. |
|
| Tier 3 Intensive Intervention |
Students most at risk receive the support and feedback they need in order to be successful. If necessary, students can go back to the beginning level of instruction and rebuild their knowledge, at their own pace. |
