Geometry

Geometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with shape, size, and relative position in space.

Fractions
Geometry deals with shapes, space, positioning, and is literally all around us - how many shapes can you find in your immediate environment? Geometry is of course integral to other mathematical concepts and foundational skills, such as addition, which proves helpful when identifying complimentary angles. Geometry offers up a great opportunity to introduce real world concepts and problems into the classroom or your home - and in Math-Whizz geometry is presented in a wide-variety of shapes and sizes. We begin with the basics, teaching children  how to identify different shapes. As lessons progress students will use a protractor to measure angles and solve real world inspired problems making geometry exciting as well as thought provoking for each individual based on their unique needs. To learn more and see for yourself how Math-Whizz tackles the subject check out our sample geometry games and exercises!
